Went and saw KRAFTWERK yesterday here in Copenhagen. Probably one of the best concerts I've ever seen! I´ve never been much "into" Krafwerk and have none of their records, but I realised I actually knew most of the songs they played, simply because they have been hit songs on the radio.

A remarkable achievement for a band that has drawn much of it's inspiration from the European avantgarde, but mixing it of course with: Der funky beat.

There I was sitting comfortably watching their fantastic visuals while the four members (the present incarnation of K consists of two old and two new members) stood motionless behind identical consoles looking into indentical laptops. At the end of the concert the true highlight of the event was finally displayed: The robots - moving their mechanical arms and bodies in unison while the audience applauded. A very futuristic moment: An audience of humans cheering four robot stars.

And it made sense too.
