I've realised one of the reasons why many of the differences between the sexes - Clothing, upbringing, occupation, etc - Have been rooted out during the last thirty years in The Danish Welfare State.

Officially it is done for the benefit of both sexes - to combat old stereotypes and role models that keep us from being ourselves; from being free. In fact- I think - it is all done to ensure that both sexes can be part of the work force at the same time and place. If we all dress the same, look the same, talk about the same things and think the same we have no problem working side by side. If a man or woman was a rare and completely different experience in either one's world they would attract too much attention - and slow down work!

It's much better to have uniform boredom. So we can work.
